I think I remember in my programming class there being a way to make some kind of folder or .bat file in Windows to where it will delete whatever you put in it and then write 0's over the location where that object it just deleted was on the HDD. If someone can point me in the direction of a guide to make something like this or even let me know how to make it that would be cool. I'm basically trying to make an upgraded Recycle/Trash can so that when I put files or folders into it or when I choose to empty this upgraded "Trash can", it will delete what I asked it to and then write 0's or "Secure erase" the free space for that location where the object was just deleted from. Looking for something like this for Windows and Mac please. Posted in the Windows section because that is what I'm on right now. Thanks.
