burning cds in iTunes

Is it possible to burn a music cd with iTunes that will play in a regular cd player? When I burn music cds with iTunes they end up mp3s, its great for me and my needs, but my wifes car stereo can not play mp3s.

YES, go to PREFERENCES - ADVANCED - BURNING, then select Audio CD. MP3 CD is probably selected right now.

go to your itunes, preferences>advanced>burning.
check the box "audio cd".
There you go. just create a new folder and put the songs you want to burn. Once you are done, insert your blank cd and burn it.
