Hi All, I am new to the forum so please accept my apologies if I'm going over old ground here. Some months ago I had to hand back a work related G4 on which I had approximately 2500 personal images stored. I purchased an iMac and seem to recall using the migration assistant to transfer my photos from an external HD onto my new machine. The result was that not only did it transfer my photos but it also created a duplicate image for each file.
The file sizes are all small, less than 100kb on average but seriously annoying. I have been manually removing them but I am losing the will to live...can anyone help or does anyone know why it happened ? Is it safe to delete them?
