If you are running on Intel, then yes, and it's way better than Safari IMO. So is Firefox, but Chrome rules for me.

No one is preventing you from downloading it..I use Chrome as my primary browser..switched from Firefox..if you are happy with Safari..then that's fine too..

I much prefer Safari to Chrome (if Apple would take care of that new Memory issue caused by the Sandboxing), but nothing is stopping you from downloading Chrome if you want it or Firefox or Opera for that matter. Just download it and drag the app inside the DMG to the Applications folder.

I use all of the above, but for 95% of my browsing I use Safari. Your choice.

I used them all upon my conversion to Mac, but now stick with Safari exclusively, except for when I need to use Download Helper on Firefox for some music needs. Whatever the memory issue may or may not me, with 8GB of RAM I don't care, and it is just too ****ed slick for me not to use. The two-finger paging? The "most visited" screen? I could go on and on with the seamless features that it has, that I find I am enjoying. I treid my level-derned BEST to find a reason NOT to use Safari, but finally stopped fighting it. It's just too slick and well-integrated not to use, *for me*.

I prefer Chrome for FB and Safari for basic surfing. Some reason Chrome and Adobe Flash work better. I dunno.... maybe it's me, but Adobe flash hesitates with my fb games on Safari and Firefox... Chrome is smooth.

I also like Chromes tab feature better than Safari's.

@OP Chrome is much better...
@Others: Have you noticed the processor while watching videos on Chrome? I use iStat and I can clearly see it consuming 50% of processor speed... Happens on both my mac. Submitted the log to google, hopefully, they fix the issue in the next update.
