External Drive - Cant drag and Drop files onto it!

imac - i5, 6970m 1g card, 4gb ram with 27" of viewing pleasure!
Hey guys and girls.

Now the proud owner of a nice new shiny 27" imac:D. My first Mac BTW :D.
Having no luck dragging and dropping files from the hard drive in my puter to the external drive I have.

I believe this is is related to the external drive being formatted in NTFS. I have tried NTFS-g (i think) but that install failed for some reason. Any one got any ideas on how I can correct my problem?

The best option for working with NTFS drives out there is Paragon's NTFS for Mac.
