As the title implies, my Mac Mail program, for the last 2 days, would not "send". It would receive mail, but the "send" would just spin until I took it offline and deleted the mail I wanted to send. I did a lot of online research, found some great resources, tried everything suggested, nothing worked. This AM, I simply sent a test to myself and let it spin an hour or so, then it finally went and I can now successfully send with the quickness.
Do any of you know what may have caused this? On one forum, while researching, someone said that having sent emails with large attachments can cause this. In fact, I *did* do this at work the other night, and THAT is when the problem started right after I had sent an email with a large attachment on it. May this have "caused" the temporary problem, and if so, why would this result in that and how may I avoid this in the future? I frequently send large emails, and it seems odd that mail would be hobbled by this.
Any insight is appreciated! Thanks!
