I made a couple of 1080p videos (mp4) of slideshows with music in Adobe Lightroom3 but when I play them with Quicktime they look horrible. Both the text in the captions and the photos themselves are blurry. Plus, the music no longer syncs with the timing of the transitions. I have read that this is a common problem with Quicktime so I tried to download VLC media player on my Macbook but it got hung up on in the "cleaning up" stage of the download and the download never did complete and I had to do a force quit. This happened the 3 times I tried to download. Has anyone else had any problems installing the Mac-specific version?? (the Windows version downloaded just fine on my PC) My Macbook has 10.5.8, 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo, 2.5 GB. I am reluctant to try this on my newer iMac until I know there isn't a problem in general (my iMac is squeaky clean at this point and don't want to mess it up)
Thanks
