Using two Apple TVs

I have been using an old Apple TV for a while, no problem.

I bought a new version Apple TV for a TV in another room.

The second ATV doesn't show up in iTunes, so I can't sync my stuff to the it.

Switching on home sharing works, I can watch movies that way. But I would prefer to sync to the ATV.

Have tried all the usual combinations of resetting, but to no avail.

Anyone else out there using two ATVs? Any help appreciated.

You don't sync to AppleTV2, you stream from your iTunes library via home sharing or from the internet. It has no storage to speak of, unlike the original ATV
