ok i just downloaded firefox on my mac (using 0sx 10.3) and how can i import all of my bookmarks from safari on firefox?

In Safari, go to File -> Export Bookmarks and save your bookmarks to a file.
In Firefox, go to Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks, then go to File -> Import and click the "From File" button. Find your file and load it.
Voila!
