how do you copy cds?

what program do you use to dump the information on your hardrive to copy on a blank cd without altering it in anyway?

There is a not very expensive little burning program called MacBurn that does a great job for general burning tasks. Toast does more but for most average use, Mac Burn is great. It's $29.95. The only thing Mac Burn does not do is DVD Videos. It will do a backup to a DATA DVD though.

You can burn from the finder also like D3v1L80Y already stated.
