I don't know, but I gave you a solution. Up to you to try it or not. If you want to troubleshoot Safari, please start a thread on that in the Software forum.

Not sure, I had no problems just posting a picture in the photos thread. I would post a question in the software forums.

Here goes a try from Safari 2.0.1. Hope the pic is ok with the rules. I followed the Pic of the month rules.

Lets see if it works. It worked. What are the rules for posting a desktop pic Schweb? I dropped it down a bit to 800x600 to be sure but it does not look at clear at that res. Looks ok though.

When posting pics 800x600 pixels is always good. This stuff is just loading too big and most of us aren't on cinema displays. I couldn't even click on the one I wanted right away because these huge oversized desktop shots were still loading.

I love this thread but this is just a heads up because I am sure I'm not the only one who gets annoyed by this.

Unless your simply on a dial up, something is wrong if you are having that problem.

I'm on a 17inch LCD (non-Apple) with Cable and this stuff loads just fine.

Johninc, see my sig for my setup. That desktop is from my G4 Tower. The RAID arrays are in a 4 bay external FW drive enclosure.

I'm on a 12 inch ibook with dsl all I have to do is scroll sideways, doesn't bother me. Loads fast too.

I'm on DSL and it is no slouch but even so I went to click on a desktop and some where still loading so it kept pushing my browser. Plus you have to scroll not only with the vertical but also the horizontal scroll. It is just two big and I will post one that I think is a good size in a moment. No reason imo to have it that big. But hey maybe I am the only one who is annoyed by this so I guess it's not a big deal. :alien:

You are correct it is not your problem, just voicing my opinion and I will always think that is annoying. It loads fine I would just love to be able to see thumbnails to click and be screen size rather than them being oversized and even if I did not load on mac-forums and did so from my server I could do it smaller.
