Need help on this matter. I have two macs in the same household. One a white macbook, running snow leopard (10.6.8) and the other, a macbook pro running Leopard (10.5.8).

Question is can i buy OS X Lion through the app store on the white macbook and then possibly transfer the file to make an install on the mbp?

If so can Lion be installed on two macs?

Thanks

The license for Lion downloaded from the Mac App Store requires Snow Leopard. Might be possible but it's against the EULA.

Also.... make sure both laptops have a core 2 duo... not just a core duo or you won't be able to install Lion. Found this out when I tried on my MBP.
