Hi,

My macbook only shows a blank screen with a blinking cursor everytime I boot up windows XP. I thought this was a hardware problem but I can boot/browse etc just fine on my Mac OS, and I can still see the bootcamp drive on my finder/explorer. I can't go into 'safe mode' when I boot up the XP as well. I was wondering if there's a way to fix this windows issue from within the mac os?

Boot the machine with your original XP CD and do a repair on your Boot Camp Windows partition. Make sure that you choose the correct partition to repair though. If you don't know how to repair Windows, do a search in the Microsoft KB. There are plenty of tutorials available.
