Applications folder

I tried to put the applications folder by the trash where that bar is, but it did that weird poof thing, so now I can't find my applications folder in finder! Where to they go after they poof, or how can I put it back in finder?

P.S. Can I put more of those black bars on the dock, so I can organize it better?

Uhh. Try clicking Macintosh HD on the Desktop and looking for the App folder in that. How did you do that? Oh. Look in Finder settings too. Like Display or something.

Ok, I found out how. You have to press "go" in the finder menu, applications, then drag it back into finder. But does anybody know if you can add more of those black bars to the dock?

No. I tried already. I wish you could like on Y'z Dock on Windows...
