Internet slow after a few days

OK. So my mini was pretty fast when it was first hooked up to the internet. But then I downloaded opera, camino, adiumx, and Americas Army. Is there anything I should do after I download stuff?

I don't think any of those would down the connection, while not in use. Maybe reboot the modem, and test the speed before and afterwards. Maybe, you're just noticing the effects of high traffic in the peek hours of the day.

Glad it worked. Don't know what happened with that broadband tester. Oh well.
