Hi, i just figured out bootcamp and installed XP on my mac. i was having a lot of trouble with it bc it was crashing a lot while i was installing it. i finally got through the whole thing and bootcamp works fine now. i installed bootcamp bc i want to play my pc games.
i have an external hd that i want to use to keep game folders and info on so i dont take up space on my mac. most of the time i plug it into my mac, the screen turns blue and error messages pop up. the last part always says "dumping physical memory." sometimes though, a dialogue box pops up and says that the drive was incorrectly removed and corrupt, do i want to mount it anyway. when i click mount anyway, the folder with the drive contents pops up. i close that so i can start a game, then the blue screen pops up.
does anyone know why this happens and if there is a way to fix it?
