Good morning, I noticed last night that the Application Folder was missing from the right hand side of the dock. I can find it using Finder but would like to return the Application Folder (link ?) to the Dock.

I switched over from a PC and although I have attempted to "drag and drop" as well as via the "spotlight" I have not found a solution. BTW, I am using 10.6.8

Your help in finding a way to return a "link" to the Application Folder in the Dock is appreciated. Thanks.

Drag the Applications folder from "Macintosh HD" (unless you've changed the name) to the right side of the dock. Simple as that.

The icon in the Dock is simply an alias, or shortcut. As vansmith points out, a simple drag will do the job. Personally prefer to drag only the icons from the folder that are in regular use, Mail, Firefox, Safari, MacTracker, App Store etc.
