Hello all - and thank you for helping me with this issue. I have purchased a used g4 (ebay ROCKS) and the machine is in GREAT shape. The man who owned it before HARDLY used it and loaded no software (besides default.) The users name (and set-up, etc) was listed as "jaysmith" and I have gone in and changed passwords, user account names, etc. Is there anything else I should do to make this machine totally MINE. Please note, I have already done the MOve2Mac software so my files are already installed. PLEASE don't suggest reformatting or somthing like that.

I have other questions, but will ask them once this is addressed.

Sounds to me like you're good to go.

The only thing I would do is register to Mac to your name. Go to https://register.apple.com and enter your info.

Good luck!
