Regretfully, I'm going to be one of those people who hope it will be the iPhone 4GS. It will only make it more bearable until Oct. 2012, when my contract ends. :p

I don't see anything to be regretful there. It will likely be an iPhone 4s with some slightly updated hardware and probably a larger drive. Maybe a dual band phone for VZW and AT&T but I just don't see more than that. It won't be called an iPhone 5 despite what everyone wants. The REAL iPhone 5 will be in 2012 and it will be a whole new phone.

No matter if it's an iPhone "5" or "4s", my only hope is that it's available in Canada then too and that it's also available as an unlocked version right away like the 4 was at launch

I'm still using the iPhone 3g. I bought it when I lived in the US, so it's locked to ATT. Since I wanted to keep using it, it's jailbroken and so painfully slow lol

This was my thinking as well..and why I just used my upgrade this month.

2012 iPhone with 4g..that's gonna be the winner
