OS X Lion on MacBook Pro?

This morning, I received an email from Apple announcing OS X Lion, described as the "most advanced desktop operating system". Does "desktop" there mean Lion is not suitable for a laptop? My MacBook Pro has Core i7. Thanks.

In this case, the word "desktop" means all non-iOS devices..so Mac Pro's, iMac, Macbook Pro and Macbook..

You certainly have the necessary specs to be able to run Lion once it is released in July..

Since Lion is a Mac App Store download-only, you want to make sure that you are running the latest version of Snow Leopard so that the upgrade will go smoothly..

When they say desktop, they mean both desktop and notebook. As to why they used "desktop" instead of "computer" is beyond me.
