Firstly, hi to all forum users, as I'm new here :D

If I buy a direct download copy of windows 7 or vista, will I be able to run it using boot camp or do I have to buy a hard copy of the disk? if it is okay, then how do I mount the disk image; it will come as .iso, right?

Thanks

First, don't bother purchasing Vista, instead get Windows 7 Home Premium or better. Windows 7 is downloaded as an executable file along with the product ID serial number for activation. You'll need to run that executable on a Windows machine in order to create an ISO which can then be burned to a DVD. Microsoft will also send you the media in the mail. I believe you will have to pay extra for the media.
