mac to hmdi output

The video works great, but i can never get the audio to also go to the tv, it always comes from the mac. How do i adjust this?

15" MBP '06 2.33 C2D 4GB 10.7; 13" MBA '14 1.8 i7 8GB 10.11; 21" iMac '13 2.9 i5 8GB 10.11; 6S
?? If it's a current model, open up Sound preferences and select the TV.

If it's not, you'll have to tell us which Mac you have along with make and model # of the TV.

Your Mac's Specs
2010+ Mac Mini, 2.4 ghz, 8 gigs RAM / iPad (1st gen) 32gb 3G / iPhone4 16gb / iPod Video 30gb
By default, my mini played audio through the internal speaker when using HDMI. Just change the audio setting to HDMI and it will play through the TV.
