pc and mac networking

Imac G5 17 inch w/ 1 gig of ram, 6 gb ipod mini, and 12" Powerbook G4
I just got a hp laptop from my school (scholarship), i dont care about it at all so i plan on downloading a bunch of mp3's and sending them wirelessly to my imac G5 but i am a little nervous is file sharing between the 2 machines safe b\c i love my imac and i dont want anything to happen to it

there is nothing to worry about as i do it all the time and nothing has happened to my PB in a good 8months solid

I'm not clear on what you're afraid might happen. It's not like the HP is going to somehow send bad bits and make your iMac ill or anything...

Just turn on Windows Sharing on your Mac and you're all set.

thanks alot guys, just coming from windows i feel like i have to take every precaution to keep my imac in good shape
