I survived today, now i suppose i have to wait until Oct for me to be taken. . . .

COME ON. I dont hold anything against those that believe, but this is just ridiculous in the most extreme way.
Honestly, how can any Human with a once of nouse believe that the world is going to end bc the bible says so ???
There has to be a bit of common sense here and im sorry to say, the people that think the world will end bc god says so, is not quite right.
Dont want offend any believers but please . . . . .

Um, today is the 19th of May. The 21st is 2 days away. We all still have time to die....

Yes;)...if you click the link...it links to a May 21st, 2011 "Judgement Day".

- Nick

The OP typed it wrong. Google it and you'll the prediction is for the 21st not the 11th...

May 21st Earthquake will Start Judgement Day 2011Judgement Day is May 21, 2011

Now, if there is a random earthquake, and I mean a BIG one, somewhere that will be freaky. California and many other places have minor quakes several times a day so those won't count.

p.s. Not sure why the link says May 11th.

Hey, they are busy predicting the end of the world, their HTML skills are not their prime concern here!

Not sure whats more ignorant. These individuals, or the people that have no idea what the bible says, while drawing conclusions on an entire religion.

Having read the bible several times, no where does it say when. However it does give details about how it will start, and events leading up to it.

It is probably better for me to stay out of this altogether, but I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut. So against my better judgement:

1) I am a believer
2) I do believe what the Bible says
3) I don't believe it says what most people think it says
4) I believe the man behind all of this is a senile and deluded moron who is causing a lot of embarrassment to those of us who call ourselves Christians
5) I fully understand why anybody with any common sense would make fun of him, but please don't paint the rest of us with that brush

False prophets. Nothing to see. Try your best to live every day as if tomorrow is Judgement Day and you'll be fine. That said, Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.

Mat 24:36

"But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."

Since it is likely that we all will be available on the 21st, what would you suggest? Hate to see you disappointed, though you could do the M&M trick again but this time do both nostrils. ;D

I was thinking about some alien or zombie stuff. Yeah, I could do the M&M trick, but with peanut ones this time! Feeling a little more risky this time around.

I'm not making a judgement here or a claim but Christians believe that what happened in the Bible is true (some to a greater degree than others). What makes such a claim any different? ;)

As someone who is generally critical of grandiose claims such as this, I decided to take a look at the math. According to this (lets ignore for a moment that they calculated a different date), their math starts with Noah's flood. As far as I can tell, there is no definitive year for that. At best, this appears to be specious logic. So, for those of you more well versed in this than I am, where does this date come from? Is there any solid evidence?

I'm not trying to create controversy or call anyone out on their beliefs - I'm genuinely interested to know how the date came about and what the evidence is for the claim.

Kind of tired of people predicting the rapture. If it happens it happens it's not like we have any control over it.
