Song of the Month?

We do Member of the Month, Photo of the Month... Why not song of the Month? Perhaps a Video of the Month too! I don't know. Sounded good to me. It's always fun to find brand new music and new artists. And directors/editors too! So. Please, converse on the topic. I'd love to see this come into action!

Photo of the Month and Member of the Month are both threads that showcase members' work. If we did a Song of the Month it would be to showcase work of our members to stay with the theme.

If you want to start thread for new musicians I think that's a great idea.

I don't think MP3 are allowed unless it's linked to another host.(big files you know_)

Yes you won't be able to actually attach the music to the posts, you'll need to link to them from somewhere else. My other strong suggestion about this thread is that you make sure you only, and I mean only, link to legal, free music or link to the spot to pay for the download.

there is all sorts of music on .mac

something else that could be an idea is, if it can be found on itunes, suggest it can be found on itunes, so people can get on there and check the artist / song out .
