Firstly, let's get this thread over to the right place, since your question really isn't about running Windows on your Mac, but more about a challenge with switching from Windows to Mac.

Secondly, I guess I'm wondering what you're planning to use for Email on the Mac, as the answer will depend on it. For example, if you intend to use Outlook for Mac, it's going to be a different than if you're using the built in Mail program that comes with every Mac.

Office 2011, the only version with Outlook, is Intel only (requirements here) and if you're using a PowerBook, you won't be able to use Outlook on the Mac. This doesn't mean that you can't move your data but it may be a little more tricky depending how you have it set up now. How do you have your email setup now and as cwa asked, what client are you planning on using on your Mac? What version of OS X do you have?

Take note of what Van stated in his reply and if possible, you may be able to use the "Little Machines" utility O2M. Buy and download from here.

OK, I want to move my contacts from a laptop running MS Outlook 2000 in Windows XP Home edition to Outlook in my new Macbook Pro running MS Office for MAC. Yes it's an intel board in the MACBOOK PRO with the I7 Intel processor.

Importing CSV File into MS Outlook 2011

Outlook (2011) is importing all of my contacts with quotation marks in the fields, rendering it useless for generating mass emails, etc. Anyone with experience in this problem?
