I just got a new 2011 15 inch MBP... but now comes the hard part.

Does anyone have any experience with exporting an Adobe Lightroom Catalogue from a PC to a MAC? Any advice or pointers on things to do (or not do) would be appreciated.

I'm planning on docking the MBP to an external hard drive for access and storage of my 77000+ digital images.

thanks for the link...

I realized that since I had my images on an external drive it would be possible to copy the catalog information from Lightroom to the external drive, then just plug it into the MBP. Right now I'm copying the catalog from the hard drive to the MBP--- hopefully everything will reconnect as before!
