Hello everyone I really like this forum. I purchased a Macbook pro last month and I love it! I didnt have to spend hours removing crapware for the first time ever. Sadly I did have to install parallels to run a weather radar program (Grlevelx) that doesnt support OSx. I look forward to making some Mac friends here and learning more what my new machine can do.

Welcome to the forums!

There are many great tips scattered throughout these forums. A couple great starting points are in the "Stickies" at the top of the "Switcher Hangout"

Congrats and welcome.

If you get tired of running Windows for one program, have a look at the Mac App Store (in your Dock). There's one in particular there that looks promising:

RadarScope on the Mac App Store

Thanks for the link!, I am currently using radarscope but it has a long way to go to catch Grlevelx . The developers are listening to users and I hope to someday make it my primary radar software.
