Is there a device that lets me capture analog video to my PowerMac? Like a firewire to RCA cable or something. Also Is there a way to export video to analog, like from my extra DV-I port on my graphics card to my tv?

-Thanks

ps. if this belongs somewhere else please move it

I use a Canopus ADVC110... it was around $250.... It will convert any component anolog source, via RCA, to a firewire signal that you can digitize just like from a DV Camera. This will also output back to an anolog signal for putting it back on tape or displaying it on a TV.

The canopus gives an analog output, too. I was not aware of that.

Yeah it does... Actually the output is really good too.... Cleaner than the anolog input IMO. I use it for previewing on a TV while editing in FCP and it works great for it.
