iPhone 5 to Launch at End of June? - Mac Rumors

June? That was fast! I'm kind of on the edge with this. I hope it's just a revision, and not a completely new model. I hope it's not really an April fool's joke.

WWDC this year I reckon will focus on the software side more than hardware, like Lion, a new iOS update etc

Eh, I'm not so sure I buy June. A lot of other sources are saying delays and MacRumors has been a lot more miss than hit lately with their predictions. Guess we'll see when it's announced of course!

I agree from previous discussions on here and recent tech stories that WWDC will be software only. If the next iPhone is to be launched at the end of June, it will be a separate announcement/event.

Typically Apple releases a new iPhone every year in either June or July. Therefore, it would be safe to presume the fifth generation iPhone will also be coming out around the same time this year. Of course, like with anything, it's not set in stone and Apple could always change the release date.

I've heard more speculation that it'd be an iPhone 4S or iPhone 4G
I won't be looking at getting it aaanytime soon, still even not 100% sure getting an iPhone 4 yet ... hah

ALso, thinking logically, a Korean telco is saying they're getting it in June. However Korea has never gotten the iPhone when it initially launches, it's always been a few months behind the US launch which means it would be launching in the US now.
