He may just be putting on an act to get some press and promote his tour which clearly by the reception at the first show, won't last much longer. Hes cashing in on the opportunity while its still there.

And yea, the people who think sheen is some kind of god are just as wacked out as he is.

As much as I liked Charlie in the TV show, him in real life is just a mess.

Addicted to drugs.
Addicted to booze.
Addicted to gambling.
Addicted to pørn.
Addicted to underage pørn
Addicted to treating women badly. (Especially the 2 he calls his goddesses)
Addicted to winning. (He thinks he is but sadly he is not)
Addicted to money.

And the list goes on. This is not a man who accidentally fell from grace like some others have. No no it takes a lot of effort to go off the rails in almost every way like Charlie Sheen has. He had it all but is determined to ruin it over and over and over again.

Having said all that, how bad must his ex-wife be that HE got custody of the kid before they took him back a few weeks ago? The wife almost always gets custody of the child in a divorce.

Yes that's the sad part. It's not a fair system. The father could be an angel and the mother could physically beat the kid and the mother would still get custody of the child most times. That just shows what a flawed society we live in today.
And yes she must have had her own terrible demons or simply just not cared who got the kid.

I honestly don't understand the big fuss regarding Charlie Sheen. So what if he's addicted to drugs, booze, gambling, etc, it doesn't affect you in any way so why worry about?

Whoa there.... No offense but, if you're basing what you've said off of what you see on the "news", then you're not informed in the least. In fact, the ONLY people whom are informed are Charlie Sheen and the people that he is close to. Furthermore, any real information that may have been passed down to said media from someone like his ex wife etc.. is likely to have been grossly exaggerated, taken out of context so forth and so on...

Just because the guy is a bit of a di*k, does not necessarily mean much more than that.

Calling him a drug addict... well, perhaps he is, but we certainly don't know that for a FACT. Calling him an alcoholic... could be, but we don't know that either, and that still wouldn't make him a bad person. I dare you to tell me that you've had zero vices in your life. Don't be such a hypocrite. No one in this life is untouchable.

Treats women badly ? You don't know this either. His life is a media circus. I guess I was just as guilty like you are, of slandering people.. I used to post here that Michael Jackson was a pedophile etc etc.. but because of his "beloved" status, most people won't hear of such a thing. Yet a guy like Charlie Sheen, whose life has been a mixed bag from what we're able to see coming down the media pipe, is easy to pick apart.. so why not just ride the train I guess, eh?

As for the porn... there ain't a thing wrong with sex so long as it's not hurting anybody. Consenting adults have the right to do whatever they want to do. If you don't like porn, you don't have to watch it. Don't think that you have to be the moral voice of a nation.

And "underage porn" ? Where are you even getting this from?! Now you're calling him a pedo? I think you're really taking your personal stance on morality to lengths where it's not your place to do so. If he was convicted of watching underage girls in lewd sexual acts .. you can be sure that he'd need a LOT more than just his nutty act to get out of that one. (Unless of course he's able to pull a Pete Townshead.. whom was actually CAUGHT with child porn on his computer, that he later said was there for "investigatory reasons" Yaaaah. OK.)
Rock star Pete Townshend has admitted paying to enter an Internet site advertising child pornography but said he had done so "purely to see what was there".

You can also bet that the local tv stations wouldn't be advertising anything to do with him, and they are, full blast. You've been sucked into all the hype. It's called being hoodwinked. Everything he's doing is likely staged to gain an audience, and likely planned by the very people whom are claimed to be railing against him. Welcome to the media of the 21st century dude.

As far as I'm concerned... you'd have to be an huge idiot in the first place to pay for a ticket to see Charlie Sheen to this capacity. Those booing dolts got exactly what they paid for. Freegin' rubes. Good for Charlie. He's getting boo'd all the way to the bank. hahah.

Edit: BTW, Andy Kaufman did this schtick MUCH better.

I've seen interviews with him where he's personally admitted to some of this stuff. I've also seen a while back interviews with Denise Richards where she shipped some of the beans too. Also interviews with 2 and a half men cast members too. So all of what I linked is what they have said.

And yes I link to and watch the news a lot. But that is so not a reputable source most of the time and I'd never seriously quote it.

And here's a rather lame joke my mate told me.
"what would the show be called if they kept airing it without charlie?"
1 and a half men?
Noooooo. It'd be 2 men. Charlie is so the half.

You should realize however, that any celebrity of his "magnitude" when in a situation like this, is going to placate to the masses via these fluff interviews. You can tell me that he did a 20/20 interview and you'd get the same reaction from me. The media in most any form is nothing but a way to generate a lot of dollars from mostly gullible people.

The machine must turn !

Charlie Sheen fires second 'Torpedo': Chicago hits closer to mark

Early reports coming in from Chicago say Charlie Sheen presented a revamped and improved show for the second performance of his My Torpedo of Truth Tour.

Sheen took the stage at the Chicago Theatre on Sunday night with a show that featured fewer video clips than his debut and had the actor telling anecdotes from his life (hmm, why do those changes sound familiar?). Plus, Sheen ditched the comedian stand-up act and added a Q&A segment with an interviewer.
