Hello everyone! I just completed a slideshow using iMovie & iDVD. It is a bunch of family photos. I would like to make a nice looking cover for the disc using one (or more) of my own pictures. Is there any free (or not) software that is recommended? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Or you can make a template in a word processor and make your own. Doesn't take long.

I just heard about a program called lightscribe! How do i know if my drive is lightscribe compatible? I'm using Snow leopard 10.6.7.

If it is the standard drive that came with the Mac then i'm afraid they are not Litescribe ready! You would have to buy another internal or external drive that is Litescrive ready!

Hope this helps

Thanks! Are there any other programs like lightscribe that will work with the standard drive?

Lightscribe requires both a special drive AND special (and rather hard to find) discs. It produces some lovely monochrome effects but isn't in my judgement worth the considerable extra money unless that's how you want to do discs forever.
