Made a quick video of our first Geocache Adventure. Still learning the iMovie software, but I think it came out ok. This is just a "trailer", I am working on a 20 min short about our adventurers. YouTube - First Geocache

Geocaching is tons of fun. I'm waiting for the winter to be over so I can get out there again. :)

See Below for information on Geocaching:

Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment. Search for a geocache below or learn more about getting started.

I found a Geocache that's probably less than four blocks away from me that might be just a log book. I'll be excited to check out my first Geocache, soon!

So I found this other geocache that seems really dangerous. I'm wondering, if anyone has experienced one similar to this? If you read closely, there is actually a timer hatch lock on the hatch you enter in from... lol

I'm actually a huge fan of the more urban geocaches. There are a ton of really cool ones around Cleveland.

Sounds like a great way to combine both cycling & geocaching activities!:)

It was the first beautiful day of the year; the first 70-80F day! So while I was out mailing something, I knew there was a Geocache in the way. It took about ten minutes in total, cause I didn't have the geocache app, I had to just wing it off the website. I arrived to a tree with some dead brush around it. I was having a hard time figuring out what I was looking for. I walked around the tree a few times, and I scared myself, cause I almost walked on a dead squirrel. But I noticed a clearing off the brush on one side of the tree, which led to a knothole in the tree pointing upward. So I went up to the knothole and peeked in, then I finally found it.

I forgot to take a picture of the tree, but I took a picture of the cache, though.
