So I've had my Macbook since about 2008, and I've never had 1 problem with it within the 3 years I've owned it, until now. I'm running 10.5.8 on my OS X and I'm not too savvy when it comes to troubleshooting much. But, since I did my last software update on my system my internet signal went from full, having no problems ever and loading everything fine. But now it lost a bar and runs extremely slow. I have to load a page 2, 3, etc. times for the page to actually load and it still doesn't fully load 50% of the time. I used my moms PC and she has no internet problems what so ever...and I've reset my router, and modem and nothing has change...just wondering if anyone has heard of this problem or has the same problem.

Moved to correct forum.

What software updates did you install? And have you made any other changes to your system or hardware?

Also, you might want to check your connection speed just in case the trouble you're having is with your ISP. Use this LINK. Slow loading web pages could also be a DNS problem.
