It's a horrible logo, but I guess they really just want to tie up everything with an apple on it. This frightens me, to be honest. Pretty soon we'll be paying royalty taxes to Apple inc every time we buy fruit.

It's hilarious, if not sad, that a photo of a fruit can be trademarked as a corporate logo.

Very true.

I don't know what Apple wants with it anyways. The current apple with a bite out of it looks better IMHO. :|

The only part that made sense in the article is the assumption this is to include all iOS devices created since 2007 in the old ruling.

I'm sure it makes Apple nervous knowing that this logo could get in the wrong hands. The Apple logo has been used against them before, as we know.

Well if every man and his dog didn't try to sue Apple for every little pointless thing then Apple might not have to be so strict with it's copyrights and patents.
