All I need the TC to do is to join the existing network that I have wirelessly.
I first turn on the TC, see the network, Join, goes to the utility, set to join existing network.. everything is good up to this point... but as soon as i click update setting and tells me to wait for the TC to reset, the TC flashes amber and does comes back to life. Cant even see it's wireless name.

Tried resetting it and still the same.. help?

Have you ever considered that not everyone knows what "TC" stands for???

You used "TC" 5 times in your post (including the title). Generally speaking...when you use an unfamiliar acronym...it's best to define it once in the post...then use the acronym from then on.

Help us help you,:)

So it accepts the password for the network OK?

Try temporarily disabling the wifi security on your router and see if the Time Capsule connects OK then.
