I just wanted to say thank u to all the mods and ops for all the help they give on this site! I am on this site more than I would like to admit because it my best resource for my ongoing switch from windows. I'm a little over 1 year windows free!

We're just glad we can help out every once in awhile.

All the questions that get asked, makes me realize how little I really know.

'Windows Free"? It should be, it's criminal what they charge for it..

Anyway, glad you like what help you find here. I agree with Bob's statement too.

Ditto on both counts. When I started writing for ATPM I realized just how much I didn't know about Macs.

Bob are you reading my mind again? If so, don't be surprised of you don't find anything new there.

I'd like to chime in here and echo "Thanks" too!! This forum and all it's knowledgeable contributors are a really big help to me. I don't post a lot, but I lurk both online and offline quite a bit lately. Rarely a session of reading this forum goes by when I don't learn something helpful.

Also, it's my goal to eventually be 'windows-free' also. It is a slow process for me and it's been roughly 15 months since I bought my first mac and had a hard time even closing a window or installing a program. But it gets easier as I go along. I am still about 20% dependent on windows, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

3 More years and still the place i come every time a new product is released. I don't sign in as much as i used to but i am still around. I don't need quite as much help as i did 4 years ago when i joined this community. So again i would like to express my gratitude to everyone in mac-forums. From the people with 1 post to the ones with 26,487 which is the exact amount pigoo3 has as i am typing this post.

Well, I guess an anniversary celebration for you! :)

I just switched over (really back to if the early '80s are counted) to Apple in the spring of 2013 and have found this forum invaluable - some of the best mods around and plenty of members willing to devote their time to help others! Dave

oh I am here all the time. i just don't sign in very often. I am in the market for a new MacBook my 2009 is getting kinda old. Still a very good machine but i think i want smaller than the 17". i will probably give it to my Son and get me a 15". So that being said with the new machine i will be on more.

So far since joining this forum i have bought iphone 3, Macbook 2009, iphone 3gs, ipad 2, mac mini (been my favorite purchase), iphone 4, ipad air, iphone 5s

love my apple products

This is one in the same for me. Whenever I visit Mac-Forums…I am always signed in.

Don't forget. Apple stopped making 17" MacBook Pro's with the "Late 2011" models. So if you were looking at only brand new models…there are no 17" models to choose from.
