So I recently bought a small set of logitech speakers with a tiny sub that plug into the headphone ports of computers or what have you.

My problem is that a few weeks later they've started humming off and on. I'll plug them in and they sound ok, but after a few minutes they'll start to hum and some time after that they begin to distort and crackle. Anyone have experience with this problem?

They either have poor shielding or the power supply for them is bad. That hum you hear is AC leaking in. I would take them back for a refund if possible.

Those speakers would be nice, but i'm on trying to stay on a budget; that and I'm in australia =)

I use a set of Dennon DJ DN-HP1000 headphones for all my personal listening needs
