Hello, This Is my first post, I just bought my first Imac , ( 4 days ago) and am slowly learning how fun and practical it is to use. I had read a different post before talking about what is the best Torrent to use , so I downloaded "Transmission" and successfully downloaded my first video file.
Problem is, I cant figure out how to play it.
Can anyone assist me?
Thanks in advance.

What file-type is the video file? Avi?

Regardless I suggest downloading VLC Player to play all of your video files.

youll not go wrong with VLC. throw anything at it and itll play. however it is a bit ugly, and quicktime is a bit nicer, which is why i use perian most.
