Hi All,

I have searched the forum for specific details on my issue but i came up with nothing maybe i am not searching correctly...
Details about my MBP
Version 10.6.6
2.4 Ghz intel core duo
4GB memory

Issue:
I have connected to the VPN for my client using the (Cisco .), once I authenticate and connect to the network, i am unable to go to any intranet website for the client. But i am able to access all other websites cnn.com etc..

I have tried booting from windows 7 on my mac and used the cisco client for connecting to the VPN and i still have the same issue.

If i use a non-mac machine a regular windows machine i dont have any issues with the intranet.

I have tried using different id's for which it works fine with the non-mac notebooks, it works fine for non-mac but for my MBP no success..!!!:

Can anyone please point me to the correct direction!!!!

Thanks a bunch
Abhi

Unfortunately there are a myriad of Cisco clients and a myriad of ways to connect. For example my company used to use the old RSA key/Cisco but have now moved on to a Certificate/SSL Anyconnect VPN. Not to mention there are a bunch of ways to authenticate.

The reason I mention this - is that if you are using some kind of keygen then you probably need a fob. If you are using a certificate then it needs to be installed. Sometimes the certificate is installed by IT - my company has an automated way to authenticate and send a certificate. So the final point is you probably don't want to give away too many details about what you are doing to connect - but did your IT setup your other machines or were you able to do that yourself?

I do have Cisco VPNs working through bootcamp, through parallels, and directly on the Mac so it does work - but since you say neither windows no mac can get to the intranet - it makes me think it is a certificate issue.

Can you access intranet websites by IP address?

I ask because most of the problems I have experienced firsthand with Cisco and OS X are DNS issues not so much connection issues. We use AnyConnect and the latest release for OS X finally fixed the DNS issues I observed in 10.6.6 with the previous AnyConnect version.
