Hmm... Coupling magnets, close proximity to internal HD... Not sure about that one, but could have some very interesting applications if they get it right.

Do these magnets affect SSD as badly as they affect platter hard drives?

Ah, good point. Hadn't considered that! Probably not, now that I think about it. If they ever do produce such a thing, I'd imagine that SSD's will be a lot less expensive and come in larger capacities.
