did i break a rule?

i felt my question if mac was planning to come out with a new version of the mbp was legitimate and the link that i posted i think supports that because when do you ever see mac prices lowered in such a way even students do not get all the discounts posted if i posted somthing wrong let me know so i know not to do it again
