I am a graphic designer, so I spend a lot of time with my mouse.
I need to buy a new mouse, compatible with Mac.
I found on Logitech website some new technologies.
I am looking for performance, quality and comfort...
I found the MX500 optic cord, the MX510 optic cord and the MX1000 laser cordless...

Can somebody help me out here.
What is the best for what I need ????

The MX1000 laser is the most accurate of any current mouse

mx1000 looks like a good choice, but is it really as performant as a cord optic mouse like the mx510 ???

the mx 1000 looks like the mx500 and is suppose to be as good as the mx510 ??

The MX1000 uses a new laser technology that is 20x as accurate as regular optical mice.

If you want it to be corded then the 510 is your mouse

i can recommend the Logitech MX510.. or any Logitech MX mouse.. they're all really great.... but 510, 700 and 1000 are the best :D
