How to remove Workgroups from the log in page

I bought a used Ibook G4 and have never used a Mac Lap top. When I first log in, I get a Workgroup Box with a list of users. I want to remove the Workgroup box or the list of users.

What steps do I need to take to remove the Workgroup, any assistance in this matter would be appreciated. Thanks

It sounds like you got the machine with the previous owner's crap still on it. You should obtain (if you haven't already) the original disks that came with the device, then completely erase and re-install the original factory software, thus creating an all-new account under your control.

It is a security risk to you and them not to do this.
