Toast centralizes all of your disc burning chores and also acts as a data converter to master CDs, DVDs, etc. OS X has audio disc burning via iTunes, Disc images via Disk Utility, general data burning via Finder and Movie disc authoring via iDVD, but it can be a hassle to figure out how to do each kind of a burn. Toast takes the guess work out.

Now, before you go and plunk down your hard-earned cash on it, there is a very nice free alternative that does about 85% of what Toast does...
