Firewire network OSX to XP

self explanatory, we ran into a MILLION problems with a freinds laptop his ethernet quit working, so we went to copy via firewire. I heard there was a program to allow this to work, how?

I don't think you can do it with PC's. On Mac's you would just use Target Disk Mode

You can try adding Firewire to the Mac's Network Preferences and self assigning an IP though

we were close, ive read others having similar results, i just read somewhere about a program, and i cant remember the name
