Ok, I have actually had a Macbook for a pretty long time but I got 2 very amateurish questions that need answering because I haven't dove into this as much as I did my PC.

Is there a graphical to show me what movies, music and so on that are taking up the most room on my hard drive. And can I get my finder to pull up all files and organizer them by file type like it did on my PC.

Also is there a way for me to move a file from one place to another so that it automatically erases it self. Rather then copying it self then me having to erase the original?

1. I think Disk Inventory X will do what you want.
2. In Finder click on the column header "Kind"
3. Drag and Drop moves files without leaving a copy behind.

Like VegasGeorge mentioned... Drag the item to the folder you want and hit the Command key while dragging. The original file will be placed in the folder and not "copied".
