vga connect to lcd tv

hi guys

just connected my mac to my lcd tv via vga sound and picture works fine but when playing youtube or 4od videos from their site the image doesn't appear when i move the window over to the lcd tv anything i can do?

just connected my mac to my lcd tv via vga sound and picture works fine but when playing youtube or 4od videos from their site the image doesn't appear when i move the window over to the lcd tv it just goes black, the sounds ok and the video returns when i drag the window back onto my mac anything i can do?

Try putting your Mac to sleep after connecting to the lcd tv, then waking it up.

If that doesn't do it, try changing your primary display setting:

Open System Preferences
Click on the Display icon
Click on the ‘Arrangement’ tab
Click and hold on the white bar at the top of the current primary display
Drag the white bar across to the monitor you want to set as the new primary display for your Mac
