I ran across this one earlier today. Not sure how old it is, and perhaps everyone on the planet but me has read it before. Anyhow, grab a cup of coffee and settle in for about 15 minutes to read all four pages. I like this Jeff guy's style.

Enjoy...

The Powerbook Prank: He wanted a Powerbook. We gave him a P-P-P-Powerbook!

That was cool, he shouldn't have mentioned the word scam too soon though.

It sounds like he successfully managed to get the scammer to pay tax on that thing to release it from Fedex, in the hope of ducking out of the full payment afterwards.

Probably a Nigerian living in London, or one with friends in London

That was awesome. An average guy that teaches a scammer a thing or two. But at the end, it says that Jeff was never heard from again. o.o ... I hope the scammer didn't find him and kill him or something. :O

LOL... That website is in part Jeff's. He's fine. A final dig at the scammer inferring foul play I think.

Sure, at the beginning it was in his own words, but how do you explain this? V

Finally, and most disturbingly, Jeff was not heard from again. I personally e-mailed him for permission to run his story on ZUG, but after an initial response, I never heard from him again. All of his Web sites have come down, and he is nowhere to be found.

Jeff, wherever you are, this P-P-P-Powerbook's for you.
