data to tiger

hey, kind of a newb question, but i was wondering...im on 10.2.8 and am about to upgrade 2 tiger, will all my data be transfered over to the new operating system? or do i have 2 burn it to dvd? thx just wanted 2 make sures

No, your files won't be affected by a regular upgrade.

It's always a good idea to have a backup copy of important files, particularly prior to a substantial upgrade.

No need to back them up but not a bad idea in case something goes awry
